| Registration Procedure | Race Packs for Events 1, 2, 3, 4, contain: Two timing chips each on a strip of velcro to be attached one around each wrist Race Packs are handed to you at Registration BEFORE EACH SWIM If you are swimming more than one event, you will retain your first Race Number but be allocated a new Timing Chip. |
| Race Number Marking | You will have your race number marked on both arms and the top of your back/shoulder blades. You will not be able to enter the water unless your race number is clearly visable |
| IMPORTANT: YOUR RACE NUMBER IS THE NUMBER ON YOUR RACE PACK YOUR TIMING CHIP IS LABELLED WITH A CODE - THIS IS NOT YOUR RACE NUMBER THOSE SWIMMING MORE THAN ONE EVENT WILL RETAIN FIRST RACE NUMBER BUT ALLOCATED A NEW CHIP FOR EACH SWIM |

| Food & Drinks | No Food or drinks may be brought onto the premises. The restaurant offers a varied and well priced menu so please take advantage of that through the day! Refer to the Rules of Munyaka. |
| Race Briefing | You will be verbally briefed at the start line before you begin your swim |
| Wet Suits | Can be worn if required. Wearing of a wetsuit for your event will mean you forfeit any position or prize within your age group/race category |
| Timing | The events are all timed by FINISHTIME and live results will be available via https://results.finishtime.co.za/Results.aspx?CId=35&RId=4878 Swimmers taking part in the 3km, 1.5km, 1km and 500m events will be loaned 2 timing chips Timing chips are handed out at Registration and are to be handed back at the finish Lost or stolen chips will be charged to the swimmer at R250 per chip at the discretion of the race organisers |
| Water Safety | Lifeguards are on the water at all times during all 4 events. Medics will also be present at the event. Should any water safety personel deem it necessary that a swimmer must be taken out of the water, they will do so and bring them back to the finish |
| Swim Safe Devices | Swim Safe Devices are made available for novice swimmers in the 1km and 500m Swim |
| Swim Caps | Swimmers in Event 1 | 3km and Event 2 | 1.5km will be loaned numbered caps (SSA registered swimmers will have a green cap) Caps to be worn thoughout the swim and handed back in with your timing chips at the finish. Event 3 | 1km and Event 4 | 500m - Swimmers to please bring and wear their own cap but are asked to make it as bright as possible |
| Bag Drop/Pick Up | We will have a desk at Registration for bag drop and pick up for those who need to use the service You will be able to complete a label and tie to your bag and collect at the end of your swim This is a free of charge service |
| What to Pack | Pack everything you will need to complete a successful swim! Remember to look at the weather predictions and ensure you have suitable clothing for afterwards |
| Vendors | Swim Emporium / Spurt / 32GI / Swim-dry Towels / will be available at your convenience for any swimming equipment required |
| At the Finish | Each finisher will receive one bottle of aQuelle water or aQuelle Viv and a finishers medal |
| After your Swim | Why not make a day of it and enjoy the time with the family. Restaurant facilities are also available. |
| Prizegiving | Spot Prizes will be done throughout the day |
