With seeding dates now confirmed, the pathway to the 54th aQuellé Midmar Mile is set — supported by an expanded calendar of seeding events, creating more opportunities than ever to be part of the world’s largest open water swim, while building valuable race experience and open water training.

One of the most unique aspects of this event is the family that continues to grow — and the stories behind every finish.

If the 2025/26 season showed us anything, it’s that every crossing tells a story. Every finish line matters. From podium performances to deeply personal victories, the strength of the Midmar community was on full display.

As we look ahead to 2027, our aim is to build on this momentum — continuing the journey and growing the aQuellé Midmar family even stronger.
